At Ege Carpets, we see sustainability as a fully circular process and our Eco collections stand as proofs of our approach to circularity. The Eco concept represents our most ambitious and sustainable collections to date and shows that textile flooring can easily be green – no matter what colour, shape and construction you choose.
56 new green colours
The Eco collections’ 56 colours are created to interact with other colours, materials, light and space – and so they stay stylish for many years. We call them green because Ege Carpets colours are constantly recirculated during the production process, ensuring that over 80% of the colour dye is reused again and again. The carpets use only yarn made from old fishing nets, industrial waste and used carpets.
We practise sustainability – do you?
Our 100% regenerated and regenerable yarns are made from nylon waste such as old fishing nets, industrial waste and used carpets. Regenerated yarn simply means that it's manufactured from waste products in a particular type of nylon. When yarn is regenerable this means that after use it can be converted into new nylon products and can thus be included in an infinite cycle. We make it easy for you and your customers to practice sustainability by specifying carpets produced with due care for people and the environment.
Based on the interaction between colours, materials, light and space, textile designer and colour alchemist Margrethe Odgaard has developed 56 ever-relevant floor surface colours. The palette comprises social colours that complement and lift each other, but also includes individual diva colours that stand out and add vibrant dynamics. You can use these to create infinite combinations in which the colours relate and react very differently to each other. The 56 colours are offered in the Compact, Pro, Rustic (including carpet tiles and planks) and Structure wall-to-wall collections.
