Thumbprints of the earth’s past

Mark of Time draws inspiration from geological processes that continuously shape the Earth’s surface. Rock faces resist the elements, fracture and fold, before giving way to erosion, movement and transformation. Minerals are washed through layers, creating new structures and subtle shifts in colour – where disruption reveals a different kind of beauty.

Designed by Carol Appleton, the collection brings these organic forces into two coordinating patterns – Bedrock and Landslide. The patterns can be used individually for a calm, grounded expression or combined to create more dramatic movement across the floor. The colour palette is inspired by minerals such as jet, lapis and serpentine, translated into tone-on-tone neutrals and deeper accents
