NEW ASPECTS

#01 – Colour Transparency

New Aspects #01: Colour Transparency

Blending colours challenges our perception, creating an illusion of movement and depth. As colours merge and blur, our eyes are drawn to the subtle perceptual shifts in hue and brightness. Ege Design Studio has developed four new, contemporary carpet designs under the theme  Colour Transparency, each showcasing the magic of colour and the power of contrasts and scale.

4 new designs

Colour Transparency introduces four new designs Overlay, Fade, Shift and Reflect. Geometrical shapes, fluent gradients and melanges are combined and manipulated into delicate and vibrant colour compositions with varying degrees of absence of form and shapelessness of colour.

It’s fascinating how the blurry, diffused surfaces create a kind of poetry when breaking down the barriers between the visible and the invisible. As figures lose their shapes and new colours emerge, a new room for thoughts and ideas arise. Delving into these new and layered designs with gradient effects and decoding their components, Ege Design Studio wants to make room and reason for an exploration of your senses through colour experience and the interplay between colours and light.
