The Shape of Perception

In a spatial or architectural context, movement, sound, touch, and sight are central to how we experience and remember a product or space. A sensory encounter where elements with a solitary expression meet in a precise curation of shape, colour and textures. Forms rooted in early human understanding of space are reinterpreted into a contemporary context to reflect on how we intuitively navigate and inhabit space.

During 3daysofdesign Ege Carpets guides visitors through a spatial encounter where The Shape of Perception developed with anthropologist and designer Rikke Skytte unfolds in real time, translating sensory impressions into a physical dialogue between body, material and space.

A space with Extraordinary freedom

Within the exhibition, guests will experience the launch of Superflex – a collection defined by extraordinary freedom. Born from the creative expertise of Ege Design Studio, the Superflex tiles and planks collection transforms flexibility into environments with vision and intent.

Developed through a deep exploration of natural surfaces, texture, faded woven textiles, gradients, and the interplay of colour, light and shadow, Superflex is more than flooring. It’s a canvas for creativity, where flexibility meets vision, and every detail can be tailored to the rhythm of your space.
