About Monsieur Christian Lacroix
Born in Arles in 1951, Christian Lacroix studied classical literature and art history in Montpellier, then at the Sorbonne and École du Louvre, before turning to costume and fashion design. In 1987, he launched his own fashion house, quickly establishing himself as a force in haute couture. Beyond fashion, he has shaped the visual worlds of theatre, opera, ballet, and museums, and since 2000 has applied his creative vision to industrial design projects, including TGV trains, hotels, and cinemas.
