ege’s environmental and climate policy is based on the concept of sustainability. This means that we strive at creating a natural balance between the efforts for humans and environment in consideration of economy.
 Our environment and climate policy is to reduce the company’s environmental impact and CO2 emissions and thereby reduce the environmental and climatic impact caused by ege.
The environmental and climate policy helps ensure a systematic, continuing effort with the purpose of creating an optimal utilisation of energy, resulting in environmental and climatic improvements and reduced energy related costs for ege, in consideration of customer- and regulatory requirements, product- and service quality and overall economic considerations.
ege’s environmental and climate policy applies to corporate activities related to development, production and sale of carpets and yarns at the factories in Vejle, Gram and Herning, Denmark.
