In 2012 Le Clervaux Boutique & Design Hotel won the Boutique Design Award 2012 in the category “Most surprising Visual Element“. The hotel is located in the centre of the small town of Clervaux, at the heart in the Luxembourg Ardennes, and the Le Clervaux Boutique & Design Hotel provides fashionable design and stylish suites.
The hotel was restored in 2012, and a lot of work went on before the design was in place. Le Clervaux Boutique & Design Hotel chose ege to supply the custom designed carpets. The suites have different designs, and the carpets were required to suit each room individually.
Le Clervaux Boutique & Design Hotel wanted carpets matching the design style of the hotel. Different patterns were chosen to match the interior, textiles and wallpaper in each room.
The hotel asked for customized carpets for the entire hotel – suites, restaurant and hallways. The elegant and baroque atmosphere and the sophisticated details show a design hotel, where every detail is carefully worked out.
"Our five-star suite hotel should entice guests into the world of design. The carpets from ege make, in conjunction with the successful establishment, the charm of our hotel. Both in the suites, as well as in the hallways and the restaurant, custom carpets have gone into action,” tells Le Clervaux Boutique & Design Hotel.
The carpets provide the ability to implement unique solutions with custom designs. The project Le Clervaux shows a design concept which is ideally suited to the hotel.
The interior designers Corinna Kretschmar-Joehnk and Peter Joehnk from JOI-Design GmbH state about the cooperation:
"The 22 suites of Le Clervaux Boutique & Design Hotels are divided into three different types, for different audiences, each with different materials and furniture.
Because of the excellent service from ege our ideas for carpet pattern for all areas were easily and quickly implemented and developed to the final maturity. In particular we feel confident about the excellent quality in the implementation of portraits on carpet.”
