ege takes responsibility for the environment and society
Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) has become an important parameter in modern business.
We have therefore decided to endorse the Global Compact - the UN guidelines for working for a higher degree of sustainability. The Global Compact consists of 10 principles on human rights, labour, environment and anticorruption.
ege’s declared CSR objective is to contribute to a more sustainable world by continually striving to improve how we handle environmental, social and financial challenges, for the benefit of future generations.
It’s simply a matter of responsibility and ethics. And it’s a matter of acknowledging who we are, identifying what we do well, and how we can become better – and taking up the gauntlet to ensure that it will happen.
